SENIOR PAID SEARCH STRATEGIST - 14617

Hunt Valley, MD

Digital Remedy is looking for a Senior Paid Search Strategist to drive performance and growth for our clients. This includes search campaigns on both Google and Bing Ads, as well as YouTube campaigns. The ideal candidate should be proactive in communication, solutions-oriented, and an expert in paid search marketing. They should enjoy a fast-paced, team environment and staying up to date on the latest trends in the search space. 



This hybrid position is based in Hunt Valley, MD/ New Orleans, LA, and reports to the Sr. Director of Paid Media. 


 

Responsibilities Include: 



  • Ability to optimize towards account-specific KPIs and goals, including conversions, CPCs, CTR, Conv Rate, etc.) to increase ROI for clients and partners 

  • Continually update and align paid search strategies with new and emerging best practices to improve quality and efficiency

  • Building paid search campaigns for client across a wide variety of industries, inclusive of campaign structure, ad copy, keyword selection, and additional inputs to drive success 

  • Communicating and recommending strategic plans to client teams to improve performance 

  • Communicating and collaborating with paid search, account management, and other internal agency teams to drive innovation 

  • Pulling reports and providing campaign recommendations for internal managers

  • Assisting the Sr. Director of Paid Media with process updates and developing new SOPs

  • Work directly and foster relationships and opportunities with vendor partners including Google



Qualifications: 



  • 4+ years experience with Google Ads, Bing Ads

  • 4+ years experience at a digital marketing agency

  • Google Certifications – Ads & YouTube/Video

  • Strong expertise in conversion tracking setup (Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Bing Ads 

  • Subject matter expert in best practices, market trends, pulling competitive insights, cross-channel digital marketing touchpoints, and reacting to changes in the industry 

  • Strong ad copy writing skills for clients across multiple industries 

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to optimize marketing ROI and performance

  • Highly skilled in Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), ability to create pivot tables, create daily spend trackers, and analyze large sets of data 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to audiences and clients of varying levels

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • A proactive, solutions-orientated professional

The base salary compensation range for this role is $68,060 to $85,075.  Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, quarterly and annual incentive plan bonuses, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
