The Electrical Engineer – RF II is a mid-level role responsible for independently designing, developing, and optimizing RF products, including broadcast antennas and RF filter systems. This position works cross-functionally with the RF Systems and Components team to ensure designs meet performance and quality standards. The RF Engineer II is expected to conduct more complex technical analyses, contribute to product testing, and support continuous improvement efforts.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Design and develop RF products, creating 2D and 3D models using HFSS, Solid Edge, and proprietary tools. 

  • Conduct in-depth technical analysis, simulations, and testing to validate product performance. 

  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including cost estimates and engineering change orders. 

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and refine RF designs. 

  • Utilize RF test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzers, etc.) to conduct performance evaluations. 

  • Assist in mentoring junior engineers and designers on RF principles and best practices. 

  • Adapt to changing project scope and priorities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.


Essential Qualifications:



  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering (RF/Antenna Engineering preferred). 

  • 3–7 years of experience in RF-related industries (broadcast, wireless, etc.). 

  • Strong understanding of RF theory and experience designing RF filters, combiners, and other RF components. 

  • Proficiency with ANSYS Electronics Desktop, HFSS, and Mathematica preferred. 

  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (VNA, network analyzers, etc.). 

  • Working knowledge of Oracle MRP software is a plus. 

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. 

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities. 

  • Ability to work independently and contribute to complex design projects.
