KFOX14/CBS4 is seeking a dynamic Sports Director in El Paso, TX. In this role, you will lead our Sports Department in covering local sports for our broadcast and digital platforms, as well as maintain an active presence on our social media. We are not looking for someone to read the highlights. We want someone who will tell the local sports stories. Your responsibilities will include anchoring, reporting, shooting and editing sports stories, along with coordinating coverage with our News Department.
- Strong writing skills
- Sharp video shooting and editing skills
- Great communication skills
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record
Requirements and Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of sports anchoring and reporting experience preferred
- Live commercial television experience
- Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field preferred
